Surmounting Great Big Mounds Of Profundity

After lunch, and a some Tenacious D HBO episodes,
We prepared for our next hike.
We would go to the Gravel pit near the cabin.

Here is one of the few self-portraits that i allow to exist.
Thank goodness Mike doesn't have much control
over the use of his own image here.
Otherwise we'd just have scenic pictures eh?

There goes mike, attempting to surmount the gravel mound.
Will he make it up the mound? Or will he fall off and die?

Yes. Success!

And more success.

Here's another angle of that same success.

Here's me in the picture to show, in proportion, just how great Mike's success really is.

Here's a closeup of all that success.

After some time, Mike then came down from his success.
Here i am showing you what that success looks like
now that its over and done with.

Here is Mike. Pleased to have found some animal pee.

We soon left all that animal pee and gravel mound climbing behind us and walked the snowmobile path. It's getting quite dark out at this point.

As you can see my pictures are becoming more and more worthless for aiding this super enthralling story i'm telling you here.

At some point along the path 3 snowmobiles came speeding past us
and it scared the crap out of us.

Mike also told a story about a story he wrote about a guy who fell obsessively in love with a nun. Then, get this, he ended up chopping her into little pieces!!!

That's what mike looked like when he told me that scary twist in the story.
It's also what he looked like when he saw those
snowmobile headlights.

We headed back to the cabin.
