Mike's response to the movie was acceptable.
I decided our friendship was secure.
After this we went out and built the annual Winter Excursion Fire.

All tuckered out by the long, eventful day, Mikey and I retired for the evening.
It was hard to sleep though, as we were both just so giddy
about tomorrow's adventures.
We spent a good part of the night jumping up and down on our beds
shouting "We're going to go to Palisade Head!
We're going to go to Palisade Head! Yaaaaay!"
Indeed it would be the ultimate of ultimate Winter Excursions.
